When I see something new that I find interesting, I have to try it out at least once.
So this is my first ADIML.
It's April 3, 2010 in Bonn, Germany. A day before Easter.
One of those rare lazy Saturdays. I got to spend it with cats.

I wake up...
...way to early in the morning for a free Saturday...
...so I lie in bed a little longer.
But I can't fall asleep again, so I soon decide to get up and out of bed.
I'm not at home, but at a friends house.
This is my friend and her husband. They are on vacation and out of town for the weekend, so I house-sit for them.
First, some water. My throat is always a little sore in the morning.
Warm slippers are a must.
The bed is pretty messy...
...but it doesn't take much time to make it.
Time to let in some fresh air. The weather is fine, at least no rain.
There are noises from behind the bedroom door.
It's these guys here. Let me introduce you.
This cute little guy is Carlos.
This grumpy looking guy is Donald.
And this handsome guy is Amadeus.
I don't have cats myself, so I'm always happy when I get to take care of them.
They are not happy, because their bowls are still empty.
I open the door, so we all can get some fresh air.
The cats like to play on the balcony when it doesn't rain.
In the meantime I get their food...
...clean their bowls...
...and serve them breakfast. They do seem pretty hungry.
Time to clean the litter boxes.
There are two of them...
Now I can finally take a shower...
...brush my teeth...
...and do all the other things one has to do every morning.
Getting dressed for a comfortable day at home.
My day just begins, but the cats will probably just sleep the day away...
Time for breakfast. I really like miso soup in the morning.
At home I make my own. But my friend has this instant miso soup I know tastes quite good.
I also like tee. I'm trying out this new tea blend.
Et voilà.
I eat my breakfast in front of the computer. So I can eat and check out all those important sites at the same time.
After breakfast I get distracted by Carlos, the only cat still awake.
Actually, he is pretty much always around. He's my favorite.
This is his favorite toy. It's a laser pointer, looks like a mouse.
Carlos likes to chase after that tiny little red spot.
Time check. There is this letter I have to bring to the post office, bevor it closes at one o'clock.
Changing clothes. Carlos is still around, he doesn't want to miss anything.
A bag full of laundry. I take it downstairs, where the washing machine is.
I never go out of the house without my MP3 player.
I could take the bus...
...but I prefer to take a walk.
Nice view.
And the post office is only a quarter hour away.
I buy a stamp, and off it goes.
Back at home. Laundry time.
At least something I can get done today.
Changing clothes. Carlos waited for me.
Time to relax and watch some tv.
An hour or so later. Time to hang out the laundry.
It's afternoon, and I'm hungry. Fortunately I don't have to cook.
My friend's husband prepared something for me before leaving. He's Indonesian, and his meals are delicious.
After lunch I make myself comfortable with this really great book I'm reading at the moment.
I fall asleep while reading...
...and it's already six o'clock in the evening when I wake up again.
The guys are in the kitchen and waiting for their food.
I sometimes get the urge to try this stuff out ... I guess I'm strange ...
I want to watch tv for a while, but there's nothing interesting.
So I play with the cats for a while.
Around eight o'clock it's time for some Guild Wars. It's the only game I play on a regular basis.
It's the weekend, so it gets pretty late.
The end of a very lazy day.
